Favourite Shots: The Lakes

“…Take me to the lakes where all the poets went to die
I don’t belong, and my beloved, neither do you
Those Windermere peaks look like a perfect place to cry
I’m setting off, but not without my muse…”
- The Lakes by Taylor Swift

(When I started editing the pictures, I had this song playing in my head, and it so fitting as an introduction for this blog post.)

Windemere

In October, I have been on a day trip to the Lake District to explore this magical part of England. It was amazing to explore the Lake District, which I heard so many people talk about and many artists through their books, songs, poems, and paintings. Furthermore, It seems that this national park is magical as it captures the hearts and minds of everyone that has the privilege of exploring it or living there.
The beautiful landscapes are what captured my whole being and made this experience magical, inspiring and regenerating. The beauty of nature is pure and innocent. It can attract you at that moment but also stay in your heart.
I truly enjoyed exploring the area and the villages that seems that they came out of a fairytale and hosted many writers like Beatrix Potter, Williams Wordsworth and John Ruskin.
I think everyone should visit the Lake District at least once in their lives it is a magical place where you can do so many things. Here are some of my favourite pictures from the trip:

It was great to explore Windermere from a boat
